Board of Directors
Amanda Kuehmichel — President and Fundraising Director
My name is Amanda and I live in Bellevue with my husband Ben and two beautiful daughters Aleah who is 3 and Eliana who is 1. We moved here from Wisconsin in 2011 after my husband was hired by Google. Our journey to natural living began due to me having severe migraines. As we worked through cleaning up our lives it became a no brainer that I wanted a natural birth. Aleah was a natural unmedicated birth with a family Dr. We knew that we wanted to research vaccines and has a result of that didn’t begin any vax’s with Aleah until she turned 1. She has had one 3 part series of vax’s and has remained unvaxed otherwise. When I got pregnant with Ellie I decided to see the midwives and had a natural birth with her. Ellie is completely unvaxed. I have had 4 devastating miscarriages and am working with Dr. Mallory Rupp who is a Chiropractic Internist to get my progesterone levels up. I love having the option to treat this in a natural way. We eat as much organic food as possible including grass fed organic beef. We bedshare, breastfeeding, baby led weaning, cloth diapering, babywearing, and are a non-vaxing family. I am thankful for everything we have learned along this journey and look forward to learning more.
Eva Conrad — Secretary & Events Assistant
Hello, my name is Eva. I met my fiance 6 years ago and he is my other half. I am the proud mommy of three amazing boys, my oldest is 13, middle is 7, and my littlest is 16 months. I have breastfed all of my boys, but only made it 1 and 3.5 months with my older two. My youngest is still going strong. I was not very natrual minded with my older two, but I have learned so much in the last few years. We cloth diaper, co-sleep, breastfeed, babywear, and do baby-led weaning. I have been with OANP for 2 years and I love this group and am proud to be part of it.
Brittany Seader – Treasurer
Hi there! My name is Brittany and I live in Gretna with my husband Kyle and son Everett. I’ve been a stay at home mom for a little over a year. Since becoming a mother, I’ve loved the OANP community and the support that it provides, and I’m glad I can give back using my extreme organization skills and love for math and budgeting. I am passionate about peaceful parenting, breastfeeding and baby wearing. I love to bake and have enjoyed finding and creating healthy recipes for my family.
Kelly Cunningham — Graphics and Design
My name is Kelly and I live in Bellevue. I am married to the man of my dreams, Conrad. He and I used to spend a lot of time hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, swimming, crafting, camping, playing musical instruments, spelunking, wake boarding, snowboarding, and anything else that sounded fun! When we had our first son Maddox, born April of 2011, some of those things got put on hold for their lack of “baby-friendliness” but we plan on continuing those activities as our child grows. I am currently a stay at home mom, but I have worked in child care and at a rock climbing wall in the past. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from UNO in December 2011. I had planned on going back to school for my Masters in School Psychology, but I am more interested in becoming a Lactation Consultant now! Although we never planned on following a certain style of parenting, we ran across the attachment parenting style and said “Hey, we do all that stuff” and more haha. We carry our son, breastfeed, use cloth diapers, practice elimination communication (starting at 9 months) and baby led weaning, try to eat organic as much as we can, left our son intact, did some vaccines, and bedshare. We also like to garden but usually end up with way too much produce!
Jeanie Troy Gutheilbykerk — Facebook Moderator – Mornings & Afternoons
Hi, my name is Jeanie. My family lives outside of Omaha on an acreage, we have four kids, five dogs, two cats, and lots of chickens. To pay the bills I work at UNO as a research analyst and my husband owns his own business restoring muscle cars and hot rods! Jaycee is our oldest she is 15, Josh is 14, Kenny Dale is 3 and was born at Methodist with a completely un-medicated birth. I’m not even sure why we were in the hospital, so Tommy Dean was born at home and is 7 months old. We don’t vaccinate. We left our boys the way they were when born. Kenny still breastfeeds to fall asleep and right in the morning (thanks to the help of this awesome OANP community we realized that night weaning when he turned 3 was the best thing for all of us). Tommy is breastfed and we will do Baby-Led Weaning like we did with Kenny. Kenny moved to his own bed, which is still in our room, when Tommy needed space to move into our bed. Kenny is still always welcome in our bed when he needs to! Tommy love his Mommy so he is often found in a wrap due to my insane schedule that is when some of our best bonding times happen and I can still get all required work done! We love to camp, boat, farm, fish, off-road in our 97 Jeep Wrangler, go to car shows. I love to cook and try to make everything from scratch and bought from farmers in Nebraska or Iowa. Life is obviously insane but I wouldn’t have it any other way!
Nadia Morris — Facebook Moderator – Evenings
Hi there! My name is Nadia Morris and I am proud to be the wife of a hard-working Oiler for Hawkins Construction. We have two sweet empathetic little boys, Paidan and Paxan. I’m from Los Angeles, CA. I graduated from FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising) in 2009 and majored in Visual Communications. I wanted to do Window Displays for high-end stores. But my last month of school I got pregnant. I was on my mainstream route when my Dr. suggested a c-section but I decided to do my own research. I ended up dropping him at 32 weeks, got a midwife, and had an unmedicated home birth. Once I actually held my baby, everything changed. My childhood dream of being a Stay-At-Home Mom came back and we also chose to homeschool. We moved to my husband’s hometown of Omaha in 2012 to give our son a better life. I had my 2nd unmedicated home birth in Omaha in 2013. My first was vaccinated for his 1st year and had a bad reaction so we stopped. We are still prochoice when it comes to vaccines. We also circumcised our first and even though he didn’t have any complications as a baby, I’m worried about his future. We chose not to circumcise our 2nd son. I found OANP a few months before moving and started volunteering. I’m on my third year and they have helped me grow so much. I’m thankful to be a part of this great community.
Stephanie Lichtenberg — Facebook Moderator – Afternoons
Hi, I am Stephanie. I am originally from the Ashland area, but now live in Omaha with my husband, Stephen. We have 4 children; Drake, Gretchen, Annabelle and Lillian. I have breastfed all of my children, co-sleep, baby wear, use cloth diapers and believe that every baby should be checked and if necessary, adjusted by a chiropractor as soon as possible after birth! Becoming a natural parent has been a journey for me and I continue to learn as much as I can to become a better parent for my children. I am grateful for the support that I have received from OANP along the way and am happy to be able to help other parents on their journey, as a moderator for this page.

Sondra Thalken — Facebook Moderator – Mornings
Hi! My name is Sondra and I’m originally from northeast Iowa. I moved to Lincoln in 2012 to be with my soulmate, Brian. We have been happily married for almost 3 years! We’ve been blessed with two beautiful daughters- Melea (22 months) and Elisia (18 days). I attended Iowa State University for my undergrad in MIS and Marketing, and also attended the University of Iowa to earn my MBA. I also currently work out of our home for a company based in Des Moines, IA. I love being outdoors, traveling, baking, cooking, and enjoy just having fun with family. I first came across OANP in 2013 while expecting our first baby. I was thrilled to find such an awesome support system of natural mamas! The group helped me tremendously as an overwhelmed first-time mama that had millions of questions. Both of our children were beautiful, peaceful, unmedicated natural births, and we are a co-sleeping, breastfeeding, babywearing, cloth diapering, healthy eating/healthy living family. So happy to be a part of OANP!
Hi, I am a 27 year old single mom of 2 beautiful girls. My daughters are 7, and 4. I have my youngest full time and my oldest only part time. I work 2 jobs in retail, and I think of natural parenting to be a passion of mine! I love living as natural lifestyle as I can and can’t wait to learn more!
